Medford is the county seat of Jackson County. With a population of more than 81,000 it is four times the size of Ashland and double Grants Pass to the North. After decades of decline Medford’s downtown is undergoing a revitalization. Anchored by the Criterion Theatre, The Commons has added new life and personality to the area. With the upcoming opening of the Holly Theater Medford’s downtown will house two of the regions biggest venues and be the center of live entertainment for the region.

Ashland eases rules for adding dwelling units
